Kids Hooded Swimming Towel for bath, swim and beach
If you are looking for a practical products for kids that you will get loads of use out of, have a look at kids hooded swimming towels, they won’t appear to be the most interesting product, but I found they made a huge difference to me and my daughter, saving time, hassle and stress.
When we first got a hooded swimming towel she was 6 and I was so annoyed that I hadn’t got one before as we found it so useful. I had seen some versions before which didn’t have towelling on the inside, which is totally impractical and doesn’t absorb water. The towel we have has double sided towelling so it really dries you quickly.
My daughter uses the towel several times a week for bath time. She loves it because it is so easy for her to get on herself and she can stay in it while she is playing or reading. It keeps her totally warms and dries her before putting on her pyjamas.
The other use we have for the hooded swimming towel is when we go swimming. As soon as my daughter has got out of the pool and showered I put the towel on her and it is like a dressing gown. She can wear it until we have got all our stuff ready to get dressed, quite often by then she is dry and can just get dressed straight away without getting cold.
The third use we have for the towel is when we have been to the beach. She wears it all day and only takes it off to go in the water. It helps to keep her dry and warm, while she is playing on the beach and it also gives great skin protection, because she is totally covered.
The version on the hooded swimming towel that I have got wraps round and does up at the side with poppers, so it is really easy to get on and off. The arms are long so it keeps her warm and covered on the beach and the hood is so fantastic. When hair gets wet, it makes your whole body feel cold and of course it is not easy to dry quickly on the beach. The hood stays on all the time so her head doesn’t get cold and it helps to dry her hair. I also found it washes really well so we have used it again and again.
So if you are thinking of getting a hooded swimming towel for your children, I would highly recommend them, look for a wrap around version with long arms and a hood and make sure that is has absorbent towelling on the inside. Remember you can use them all the time and pass them down when your child has grown out of it, they will last for years.
