Poncho Towel Styles

The styles of beach and poncho towels around are varied; they have become much more available in high street shops.  Originating from the beachfront shops, most of the towels that I have looked at tend to have no arms and are open at the sides.  This can make it very difficult to use your arms while wearing it and also it does not keep you properly warm. 

Although these poncho towels are a great improvement on the standard towel, there are future improvements that can be made.  I have found a retailer that sells these towels but they have added arms and are sealed under the arms.  They are much warmer and are easier to wear and do things in when you are wearing them.

Of course these towels are great for the beach, but also fantastic for swimming lessons or bath time.  They mean you can get out of the water and be fully covered; it is great protection from the sun and stays on you completely covering you all over. 

You can get a great range of different designs of poncho towels; they can be plain or a range of colours and patterns.  There are also fun ones, which are designed as characters such as batman, superman and others.  You can also order personalized ones or particular sizes, they could make a great presents for friends and family.

I would strongly recommend that you swap your regular towel for a poncho towel; it is one of those products that you won’t want to go back on once you change.  It makes life so much easier, you can sit around in it after a bath like a dressing gown, you can sit on the beach in it and keep the sun off and keep you head warm while you are drying.  After swimming you can put it on while you are getting your stuff and finding a locker to change in.  If you a mum it means you can keep warm while sorting out the kids.  If you have children it means they will stay warm while you are sorting out their clothes.

One thing to look for when you are buying a poncho towel is that it has towelling on the inside.  If you can I would also find one that has arms because they keep you much warmer.   A wrap around towel is even better because you don’t have to get it over your head when you’re wet.

It is a good idea to have a look online before you buy, you can see what options there are and you can compare prices.  You sometimes that online prices are cheaper because they don’t have the expenses of running a shop.  Of course you can’t look at the quality, but sometimes it’s a risk worth taking.  Make sure that you don’t get a really cheap one because they don’t tend to wash as well.
