Shopping

Girls have always been associated with loving to shop and of course many girls and women this is true.  However  there are a few of us out there that just can’t stand it, to me shopping is not a leisure activity it is just a tool you use to obtain an item that you need, the quicker and easier this can be done, the better.  Of course one of the reasons you would need to shop would be if you had a new baby to buy for. 

The internet has become increasingly popular and this has been a great aid to both those who love to shop and those who don’t.  If you love it and you are looking for a new baby gift, you are able to shop 24 hours a day instead of only being able to go when the shops are open.  You don’t need to travel and this makes it easy to spend a lot of time doing it and spending a lot of money.

Of course if you don’t like shopping the internet has become a great tool, you can search for an item you need and then order it or go and pick it up from a shop.  It makes the whole process quick and easy, you can compare prices and specifications of the product you want to buy very easily. 

If I need a specific item of clothing I can research it first, I can then order it or then pop into the shop to try it on and then buy it, no more searching through rails to find a size, colour or style that I want.

Of course a group of people that have really benefited from this are busy mums, if you are looking for a particular item, you can look online at the choices and prices available and you can compare products really easily.  If you find it difficult to get out of the house with a new baby, then you have the option of buying the product online.  Similarly mums who work full time may not be able to get to the shops when they are open and only have time in the evening.  It is really easy to browse and buy online any time of the day or night, many mums who are up in the night feeding or changing a new baby sometimes shop online while they are up to pass the time or to get ahead with the jobs.

The other great advantage of the internet is that you can find products that you didn’t even know existed.  As a mum with a new baby you might find that a travel wrap would be a better alternative to the standard baby blanket you were originally planning to purchase.  Some small businesses only sell online and they often have unique products you cannot find in high street shops, so you would not be able to find them any other way.
