Hoodie

Do you tire of hearing how absolutely wonderful the Morrck hoodie is? If you do, hard cheese because I could just rave and rave about them - and indeed I do to all my Mummy friends.

I was recommended to buy one via a baby chat forum and boy am I glad I did! My baby was born at 30 weeks and I watched as the other premature babies were discharged in newborn snowsuits looking absolutely ridiculous - they were utterly swamped. Jemima, on the otherhand, had a Morrck hoodie and I can safely say it is the best baby purchase we made. Full stop.

It is so versatile and completely eradicates the need for a coat - we even wrap her in it when carrying her in the baby sling. She has gone from 4lb at discharge to 10 months old and the size 1 still just about fits her but I am so impressed with it I HAVE to have the size 2. It's an abolute must for any self respecting winter baby and particuarly those who do daily dog walk. She sleeps so soundly and snugly while we dog walk every morning - if it's really cold and she needs a nap she's tightly swaddled and if she's happily awake on a midler day I leave her arms out and swaddle beneath. When I transfer her into the car I usually only put one side across her, so she's cosy but doesn't over heat, and roll the other side out the way. Honestly, it's fabulous and made a genuine difference to our life so I wanted to say thank you.

Splasha

As a family who spends a lot of time at the beach (it being practically next to our house) one of the things that I always dreaded was the bit after they had been playing happily for 2 hours in the water and they were now freezing cold and turning an interesting shade of blue! 

Trying to dry a wet 3 year old and reassemble in dry clothes was somewhat distressing for all involved and I knew that there must be an easier solution.  When we can across the Morrck Splasha I knew we had found that solution.

The Splasha towelling wrap is made from double sided towelling and is quite simply the softest towelling I have ever felt.  It has 3 press studs down the front and 2 on the shoulder to keep your little one cosy and warm.  Unlike traditional hooded towels the Splasha has arms which is far better at keeping little ones warm and a lovely hood which is great when the wind is whistling around!  Our daughter was especially impressed with the generous sized pocket on the front of the Splasha which was quickly filled with sea shells and other seaside treasures she found at the beach!

We don't bother trying to dry our daughter with a towel now, we just strip her clothes off and put the Splasha on which dries her beautifully and is so soft it makes drying the sand off her almost painless.

The Splasha comes in 3 sizes ranging from 1 to 7 years and they are very generous in size which will last several years so they are excellent value for money.  They are available in 2 beautiful designs.  I didn't think it was possible for the Splasha to get softer but when you wash it it does. 

Without a doubt, the Splasha is a must for anyone with children, whether your going swimming, to the beach, in the paddling pool or after a bath, you will not find a softer, more versatile wrap. 

Every now and then a product comes along and you wonder how you lived without it, the Morrck Splasha is one such product.  I cannot speak highly enough of this fabulous wrap and would recommend it to everyone.

Hoodie

Just a quick message - to say how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Morrck hoodie.  A friend of my sisters bought her one (because someone has bought her one) and we were both amazed by it that she then bought me one when I had my little boy 7 months ago.  I am sure it aided him sleeping in his car seat because he was so snug.  I have in turn bought it for 5 friends now and each one has loved it.  Every time one of my friends or myself are out and about with the Morrck's someone comments on them.  They are such a great blanket..  My little boy has now outgrown his, because we had the smallest one, so I will be buying him the all weather larger one now..  So he mag be as snug as a bug in a rug for many more months..

I received by Baby Hoddie today, it's just fab. This is my 3rd baby and cannot believe I never knew about these before. It will be so handy now for the cold weather & I'll know my little man is nice & warm. This will be my present to any new babies also. Will pass on your details to friends also. This is such a great product! The snow decided to fall just as I got home from hospital and trips out during the winter weather with my newborn turned out to be a bit of a struggle, getting my tiny newborn into a snow suit and then trying to squeeze the overwrapped little tot into the car seat caused a screaming start to every car journey. It was also a pain when we got to our destination, as due to the winter weather, the heating would surely be ON at full blast and I'd have to wake my then sleeping little treasure in order to peel off the snow suit and prevent overheating. (and who wants to wake a sleeping baby right?)
This product was a god send, it meant that I could put my little one into the car seat in indoor clothes and then use the hoodie, which has a hat and a superbly warm blanket part as the much needed extra layer during the winter months. It was also great when we got to our destination, as I could easily open the hoodie, thereby preventing my little bundle of joy from overheating without any waking up activity whatsoever. Overall, I'd say it a must have product worth every penny.

I'm pleased to say the all season hoodie I won via the Askamum competition has been one of the most useful products we've got. We've used it in his rocker and wrap it round him when he's asleep and to keep off the draughts. Its been used every day since I received it. If there are any little accidents and it gets dirty its easy to wash the hoodie and its back on the rocker in a few hours. Its snug, soft, practical and looks just as good as the day it arrived. Thank you!

This is an amazing, simple product. During the winter months whenever I was going out in the car or the buggy I never had to struggle to get a wiggly baby in a winter suit. The Morrck fits perfectly in the car seat and kept my baby lovely and warm. Once inside she was easily unwrapped and ready to play. It is also really easy to wash and dry's quickly

Just a quick note to let you know that having bought 2 hoodies from you in September 2007 for my twin boys... I am still totally enamoured of them. I have used the hoodies almost every day since then when we go out to walk our dog, and they have been a real boon for keeping Sam & Jake snug and warm in even the most freezing weather. They are now coming handy to keep the chill out in the milder weather but because they are so flexible I can wrap them up as much or little as is required and don't need to bother with coats which is great.

Just a quick note to say how much both myself and Lauren love her new winter wrap/coat. To quote her “I like it all the times” she ran around the garden last night claiming she was a super hero and insisted on wearing it around the Trafford Centre today despite the weather being far too hot for any coat. You’ll be pleased to hear she got a large number of admiring comments, partly because it’s a little big for her and she looks like a little raspberry coloured Jedi knight from the back which is sooo cute.
